Sesame Carrots and Celery


1 tablespoon margarine or butter
3 medium thinly bias-sliced peeled carrots
4 stalks thinly sliced celery
1 to 2 teaspoons honey
2 teaspoons sesame seeds
1/4 teaspoon salt

In a large frying pan melt margarine or butter. Cook carrots over medium-high heat for 1 minute, stirring frequently. Add celery; cook for 4-5 minutes, or till vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Stir in honey to taste, sesame seed, and salt.

I like to toast the sesame seeds beforehand: place seeds in the bottom of a skillet over high heat. Shake the pan a few times until seeds are starting to turn golden.
