1 lb. ground turkey or pork
1/2 onion, sliced into thin circles or
use shallots, thinly sliced
juice from 2 limes
1/4 cup or so fish sauce
cilantro leaves, for garnish
finely chopped thai chilies, for garnish
cooked rice, to accompany dish
Using a large skillet or wok, brown the ground turkey and onions. Sprinkle the lime juice and fish sauce over the meat. I don't usually measure the fish sauce, I just spray it out of the bottle until it tastes good. Serve the over the rice, with cilantro leaves, and if you're brave, a few chili slices on top. |
