1 1/2 to 2 pounds stew beef, cut in 1-inch cubes
1/4 cup flour
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 cups beef broth or water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
3 carrots, sliced
3 potatoes, diced
1 to 2 onions, chopped
1/2 cup red wine
Place meat in Crock Pot. Mix flour, salt and pepper and pour over meat; stir to coat.
Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix. Cover and cook on Low 8 to 10 hours. (High:
4 to 5 hours). Stir stew before serving.
